Too early for April 1st, Terry However, for the fWearing another of my conversion projects. This one started out as a Resistol Western that was too small and had a 6 1/2 open crown with a 4 inch brim width. I converted it to a Bengals football cap and sewed in an adjustable plastic thingy in the back so I can adjust it to my size.
The new open crown height is 4 inches in the front with a rake sloping to 3 7/8 in the back. As creased, it's the same measurements.
The brim is now a bill. The bill length is 2 5/8 inches. I even let the dog chew on it to give the cap a nice distressed look.

Root for the Bengals just for the heck of it. It'll make the game more fun if you have a team to root for. It's the first time they've been to the Super Bowl since 1989.Too early for April 1st, Terry However, for the f

However, for the first time in over 20 years, I'm about to watch the Super Bowl. I don't have a dog in this fight, so may the best team win.
Nice choice BillArt Fawcett for services this morning since tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

Stefan, Thank you! It's a heavy weight. As usual a really fantastic series of hats from you! I am especially drawn to the Tirard GrandRaid Ceylon. It's a really unique + superb looking hat. Also a great color match with your coat.Very nice woolfelt survivor, Steve.
Joe, Thank you! I really enjoyed seeing your Wormser Premier Quality Boater. It looks fantastic on you! Up here it's see very cold and damp so you brought a touch of Spring. That is one cool hat Steve
Steve, Great looking hat! Really like the color and finish!A Brummel's "Nice" on this grey Sunday. I don't know whether this one is named after the French town or the English word. Either way, it's a nicely shaped hat. View attachment 402078 View attachment 402079
Yeah, I would like to have seen the Bengals win that Super Bowl game. Oh well, maybe in another 33 years they'll get that chance again.I did, Terry. Sorry it didn't help.
Daniele, Fantastic looking Morreton French Zephyr Velour! The close cropped Morreton Velour finish (JHS Seal Velour like) really shines in the sunlight.French velour hat, worn these days with sun and overcast skies

Black velour behaves totally differently

Morreton Velrex size 59 or 7 3/8 US arrived until these days in excellent condition except for some "walk" of the moths on the back of the crown

The felt is very light and soft with excellent handling.

An imposing and very light velour hat, it has a very good finish, not common on the Morreton production
