Off to have lunch with the boys with a nod to Dick Hoyt, marathoner extraordinaire. Mr. Hoyt passed away this week, so the Hoyt Hat Co's Demon Hanover gets the pick.

Thanks, Michael. Thanks Stefan. That is pretty much my go to crease for the OR types. Occasionally I'll throw on a cattleman and I think I have one I like with a center dent and pinches.
You have a great lineup of hats and winter outerwear in your collection from last week. I've always like the looks of that Wildleder.
Thanks,
Michael
Thank you, Brent. The Mayser was long overdue for some headtime!Love them all, but the Mayser has my favorite proportions. The Feinste velour finish looks fantastic!
To the nines, Gary. The Brummel's is the perfect hat for the occasion. I bet the crowd liked that one.Day 2 of my birthday weekend and I had to work. It was graduation day for our 6th graders. In New Zealand, we don’t graduate from primary school. We don’t even graduate from high school...we finish school. We graduate from university. Here in Japan, they love their ceremonies and the ceremonies often include remnants of their militaristic past. As much as I love this country, some of the ceremonies appear ridiculous to my eyes. However, it does present me with the opportunity to wear my Brummel’s homburg, which is certainly no bad thing. I was the assistant home room teacher for the 6th grade, so the parents presented me with quite a spectacular bouquet, which made my wife happy, so that, too, is no bad thing.

Day three of my birthday weekend was spent in kangaroo leather...no photos. Day four (I had today off in lieu of Saturday) photos coming at some stage.
Etsuko looks great in that Hornskov; she's the winner over your Stetson I'm afraid.Day four of my birthday weekend. I’m in my Stetson Custom V and Etsuko is in her Hornskov for Hong Kong style wonton noodles.

Most excellent hat and tribute, Jim.
Remarkable to find a Gorasgu homburg, Steve. Wonder if it was mislabelled? No matter the model name it is a great looking hat.Echter Borsilino "Qualità Superiore" "Gorasgu" possibly late 1930s early 1940s. Actually from early last evening.
Fabulous hat, Brent.
Very cool; great looking "organic" crease.
Wow, Eric. Those Brock hats get me every time.Good evening.
I wore a Fox Brothers Covet cloth cap back to work.
Home after a snowy commute shortly ago. My dog and I are finishing a walkabout while I have changed to wearing a 30's Brock fedora.
Cheers, Eric -
Superb Dobbs, Perry.
It deserves a name I think, Michael.Vintage no name today

Wonderful parade of hats and caps, Jeff.Happy St. Patrick’s Day. I always have a little fun on this holiday. This year it began last weekend since I had all of my kids here at the same time.
Here are the recent hats of the day.
Baron Hats dark moss bowler, Hannah Hats flat cap, an awkwardly cut flat cap in Cape Breton tartan, from where hundreds of my relatives hail, and a little brown Resistol back bow homburg.

Don't know about your size, Eric, but there seems to be something supernatural about your hat-collection!Whippet Wednesday. Pine green fedora for this St.Patrick's Day. Wearing green makes you invisible to leprechauns, which like to pinch anyone they see. I am certainly not getting pinched by a diminutive supernatural being!

Super looking hats, both, Jim. Have to give it to the Peschel though.Late to the St. Patrick's Day party. Yesterday, I started with a dog walk under this Anton Peschel.

For the Fedora Lounge fellows writing and asking about my absence I have to thanls all for your attention.
I'm fine in the new Italian lockdown, a little bit disafected about hats and more engaged about photography.
It is a way to escape the rules
Thanks, Steve. Hats keep coming in. A few of these from the US and soon also from the French source (after cleaning, steaming and repairs). Not all of them good, but there are some excellent ones among them.Looks like you had an excellent week hat wise, Stefan. Not to mention the excellent ensembles of scarves and coats that go with those hats.
