No feathers, but nature unknowingly supplied the leaf. :)

Today...it’s a change-up. Akubra seems to get less love around here however i find this one to be a well made, well appointed, nice colored hat. Lots of crown, plenty brim. What’s not to like?
Akubra Camp Draft Imperial Quality with some Willow Princess Quality!!
Akubra always gets a lot of love from me mate. Nicely worn Abba.

Damn, B. Wonderful. I don't really like the hat, but Willow is awesome.

Wearing a '50s era Resistol 10 Homburg that a fellow Lounger gave to me. This is an amazing hat and it's all in pristine condition. I always wanted to try a Homburg but when I put it on it was obvious that a Homburg just wasn't me. So I converted it. Nothing was removed from this hat so it was a fairly simple conversion that didn't require a lot of skill other than care and patience, and a brim flange. Notice the decorative stitching near the brim binding. I have more in the conversion corral...

The first fedora I ever owned was a gray Whippet style hat with a black ribbon and matching brim binding that my Grandfather gave to me back in the early '70s. I really liked that hat. I was in High School then and I ended up losing it. So this one is a little special to me.

You know I love my homburgs, Terry and I do like them to stay that way. Having said that I must admit that this is a great conversion; you wouldn't know it ever was anything else than a fedora.
