I don't believe there's any wool in it. The felt is far too stiff. It is indeed unlined as the photo shows. The date on the inside of the sweat says 12 Dec 1961. Label says Chocolate. That's the colour obviously

Bob, Thank you! Hut-Seidl was a hat company whose owner saved Mayser Ulm financially in the early 1900s and the companies merged. The Hut-Seidl stores remained and featured Hut-Seidl branded hats made by Mayser Ulm and special Mayser Ulm models.

Reggie I'm glad I gave you some new perspective on the French "Diplomatique". I bought many old and of excellent quality, they are almost finished, there are still some to show, then we will move on to our local production and also to someone new

Thank you Brent and I admire your enthusiasm for the hats that fit me wide In a while I will be selling some great quality hats in size 60 or 6 1/2 which to me are really wide. It can be some are to your liking and good fit.

Lock & Co, London, circa 80s. Hatband is not original, but the original is under. Unlined. Leather band. I think this model they called some kind of Trilby, although the brim seems too big for a Trilby. Maybe a travel fedora.
