Today I was in my vintage Stylemaster.
I finally got around to doing this. First spray done. I’ll let you know how it goes.Nice job.
Buy a spray bottle at a 100 yen store, fill it with water, and drench the leather and surrounding areas in spray, including the back side of the leather. Repeat three times, after letting it dry naturally. You will have a perfect fit. Believe me, patience, and it works to downsize a leather sweatband hat...
Very nice, Jeff. It kind of surprised me to find a Cavanagh that didn't have the cavanagh edge.
Looking good, Gary. Hats, coats and scarf.Photos from a week ago that I never got around to posting. Me in my Stetson Custom V & Etsuko in a Maxim. View attachment 299639 View attachment 299640 View attachment 299641

The year 2020 at least brought me these two borsalino's (even if I did have to wait for four months until they got here).
It's not the camera angle, Randy. They are fairly straight sided, but these are hats from the forties or early fifties. Those two Borsalino's seem to have less taper on the sides than many of the modern versions I see, or is it just the camera angle?
Fantastic hat, Daniele. Incredible colour!Cold day with pearl sky, magnificent light for photographing.
For the Homburg & Festivity series, today is the turn of a "Diplomatique" hat from the 1930s.

"Etablissement Ecuyer & Thomas - Chazelles sur Lyon" The size is 6 1/2 or 60 centimeters. Unlined and soft felt with remarkable malleability.

No other indication because inside the sweatband, very light in line with the felt, there is no label to give information.

The color of the felt is incredible, ranging from burnt brown to violet, as well as the ribbons that adorn it.
The dimensions are impressive like all homburgs made in France.

Happy Sunday to you all. Thanks for the likes and compliments on your magnificent hats
Today was a two hat day. Chuck E. Cheese inflatable top hat that our youngest son “won” playing games after eating pizza.

Then back to my walnut Stratoliner with its black ribbon for dinner.

A Knox Twenty fedora went out for a dog soirée. Love the felt quality and "Custom Edge" in this fedora.
Cheers, Eric -

You look good my friend. Hope all is well in Denmark.Brummel's Fedora on yet another grey day. The sun shone out of a blue sky yesterday. Sadly, I forgot to take a photo of yesterday's hat.
Some great headwear to kick off the New Year fellow Loungers. You've had me drooling.
Have a great week, friends. View attachment 299782 View attachment 299783
