Reggie, Thanks! I really like the form too. The felt is of a heavier weight so it really holds the brim flange.

I am continuing a thin ribbon Sunday theme. An essential trip to the hardware store found me sport'n a vintage Stetson Royal DeLuxe Open Road.

Filling bird feeders, moving planters and raking some errant leaves that may clog the snowblower had me wearing a Stetson Stratoliner (Cadet Blue).

Lunch has me grilling a couple of pork loins and vegtables wearing a Stetson Stratoliner ( brown (under-brim pic is color accurate)).

Cheers on a thin ribbon themed Sunday at my house.

I had to go into the office to do paperwork this Sunday morning. Royal quality Stratoliner in cognac.

It seems I gravitate to these rusty brown hues like cognac and chestnut. This particular hat is a rather mediocre and unimpressive felt. I wish they had made this color in Excellent Quality.

I know for you purists that a feather on a Stratoliner or any hat is sacrilegious, but aside from adding stiffener to the brim, I had to do something to spruce this poor hat up.

Yesterday's yard activities had me burning some fallen limbs. A shower and change of clothes meant I could sit and enjoy the fire wearing a cap.

For this morning's dog soirée I wore a Stetson Whippet. Afterwards I have been sitting and enjoying the glowing embers of yesterday's fire.
