XxMake sure your bobbin is unwinding in the correct direction. (Thread should come off the bottom from right to left). Set your thread tension and presser foot tension on a scrap of similar thickness. Don’t start stitching with thread tails flapping in the breeze, use a leader! You should be good to go. Actually, I suppose for a brim binding, you’ll have to start ON the work so a leader won’t help. There’s another trick, a little hard to describe. PM me if you want me to explain it brother.
