It’s a well-established fact that women look better in men’s hats than men do.
Dress shirts, too.

Character for sure! Great look sir!View attachment 271769 Dennis Brooks, Fine Fur Hats— black beaver, 2 1/4” raw brim. This was my first 100% beaver hat and has served me well. I like the character it is developing.
Your posts on Facebook always remind me of how I've neglected my life on the lounge. Love the pie image, good choice!Dog soirée completed and home to eat some apple pie for breakfast.
Cheers, Eric -
Good to see your brim Perry.
Lots of wool there Michael. Sheep beware! Love all of it.Some sort of German wool hat on a nippy morning

That’s awesome! My 23 YO daughter loves Boston and my 21 YO daughter loves the band Yes.Yessir, she sure does. Kid has good taste in music. Thanks bud.
That's beautiful, Eric.Fawn 1930's fedora for relocating leaves, removing some screens and checking the snowblower. Tomorrow there exists a chance of measurable snow that has me concerned I am ready.
This fedora is a Brock made by the Wolthausen hat corporation. This is when they bought the plant from WHC or the wolthausen hat corporation.
Wolthausen owned the factory from 1895 until 1930. Kensington and then Stetson had possession after. (There is a little bit of mixed information on the Internet that suggests that the plant was sold in 1930 but that Stetson didn’t put their name on it until 1935.)
Cheers. Be safe, be strong and see you on the street post pandemic, Eric -
Me, neither, but it’s near the top of my wish list!
Looks good to me. I want a Fed IV, but I’ve never had an open crown before. The whole do your own bash thing is a bit intimidating, but I expect to give it a go at some stage next year.
Thank you, Steve. In retrospect it took me way too long to pull the trigger on it.I've been so envious of your American hats, Stefan, but that Peschel is in another league to die for. Gorgeous colour and fantastic looking felt.
Great find!
Thanks, Joe.Love the Wormser And very cool liner on the Adam.
Very cool hat. I thought it was the Musketeer as well.
Everybody needs at least one good blue hat. Nice one, Reggie.
Somehow you seem happier with the sombrero!Knox derby:

Sun today after 48 hours of rain and a good opportunity to give air to another Borsalino, a close relative of the two showed together the day before yesterday
View attachment 270987
Borsalino Qualità Supeirore size is 6 or 59 cm. or 7 3/8. The proportions are the same, wide and raw brim, medium high crown.
View attachment 270988
What changes is the felt, finished with short hair and a color very close to the "Dattero" color with the ribbon to match the felt
View attachment 270991 There is also the windproof cord and the Borsalino seal is still attached to the lining. The hat is new

Another beauty arrived from a close shop
Just beautiful, Dave.
Hope everything was in working order, Randy. The colour on the Milano works best in real life.In for my annual checkup with a rust colored Milano homburg courtesy of Stafan @steur

Thanks, Michael. I wouldn't say they're common, but once in a while one shows up.Thanks Stefan
All nice hats, but that Wormser is killer.
Nice. Wish a wider brimmed Peschel would show up around here. All I've seen are stingy types.
Thanks,
Michael
That is one impressive brim curve on that Dobbs. Good to see it out again, Michael. The Dobbs Deion hasn't been out in the sun lately.

A firm place on the Hückel's greatest hits album and quite rightly so. Wonderful hats and this one no exception.Hückel Chevreau. That's my youngest daughter hiding in the background

Have a great weekend folks.
Fantastic!I was swimming my 500 meter backstroke in pretty choppy water with a southerly wind yesterday day when I saw a 737 fly low overhead heading for the airport a few miles to the south. Strange sight as they only take this approach when the wind is out of the South, and then I remembered that I haven't seen many planes at all for quite a few months. The tourists are back.
Nutria Quality at my local beach.

You're wearing the right hat and she's wearing the right shirt! Bonus points.Out in the rain today, making some black cherry soup. Got my photo bombing sidekick as usual. Forgive the clashing purple, I’ve been experimenting with a “new” sewing machine and different stitch types. That’s my expendable fabric. Thanks for the likes yesterday, and always. Have a fantastic weekend y’all, be safe.

Hat, coat and scarf: everything works, Steve.Borsalino Extra Superiore on this overcast day. The name on the label says Amiata. I'm guessing it refers to the colour. Mount Amiata is part of a lava dome range of mountains in Tuscany. The grey/purple colour of it is in line with the colour of this Borsa. View attachment 271299 View attachment 271300
Nah, what do they know? Thanks, Joe.
It's funny how you can forget a hat for a while, suddenly discover it again, and think: why haven't I worn this one lately. Some (my daughters for example) would say it's because I have to many hats. Perish the thought ;-)
