The navy blue hued felt is difficult to capture in the sparse morning light.

A very attractive woman complimented this hat so of course it’s now a favorite. Do women know the power they have over us? Scary.

Breaking the kids in early. Love the father/daughter hats !!Errands and then lunch with my daughter. We had a coupon, so there was a Big Mac Attack! She was wearing a Dorfman Pacific Captain's Cap and I had my first Champ, a fine hat indeed.

I like everything about this hat. I am ambivalent about wearing this as I do not want to wear it to an early demise, but it begs to be worn. I shall wear it.

Very recent sin!

Borsalino Qualità Superiore size 7 or 61 cm. or 7 5/8. Fit with some little adjustment

Color is "Pomice" (Pumice) Made during the sixties

Felt is thin and very malleable. Matching ribbon. The combination felt and ribbon are what I liked most of this Borsalino!

It is one of the sins committed in Merano, one of the many Borsalino seen and reviewed, but never noticed and taken into consideration

Thanks for the likes on the grey "Bugey" Flechet
Have a nice day
Thanks Woodtroll. I'm really liking the hat and this coarse coat.Nice hat and nice warm, woolly-looking coat, Michael!
I agree, Red. It was a find. You really found a jewell with this Sixteen Fiddy! A very warm look today.
Absolutely gorgeous hat, Alan. Just as a matter of interest, what was the Pantone color of the year for 1939? I have an overcoat with a 1939 union label that seems to be about that color. I thought it probably dated to some time in the 40s, but I may rethink that.Pantone color of the year for 1939.
