Hey all!
This Stetson 3XBQ Mode Edge c. 1950 has a replacement sweatband and ribbon, but the joy of wearing it is not at all diminished by the repairs.

Have a great day!
Always good to see you, John, in any hat you see fit.
I wore my Resistol kitten finish with my kitten, Salome, and my Borsalino marque grand luxe yesterday, and am beginning this morning with my Falcon Park Virtuoso.
Thanks, everyone, for the recent comments

All of them spectacular, Jeff.
This used to be a 70s western Penny’s Marathon.

Well this beauty arrived yesterday. And here she is right outta the box with no cleaning up at all. Been wearing it all day. Don’t want to take it off. Think I am in love!![emoji7]

Penny’s Marathon

Color light tan

Size 7 fits perfectly [emoji108]

Brim 2 5/8

About 4 1/2 crown as creased

1 1/16 matching ribbon with very cool shark gills pattern

Matching trim on brim

The beautiful tan felt is thin soft and moldable. While not the same... this is about as close as I’ve come across to the felt of my Dobbs gay prince.

Man, very nice Joe !! And Shark Gills to boot.
I haven't received a vintage yet that I haven't had to work on, although I do have something on the way that should fit that category.....

Come on, you know you have one! We all do! Probably not the best felt, the brim might be wonky, may be too heavy, a few stains or moth bites, but who cares! Somewhere in your stack you have a hat that is just plain fun!!!

My hat today is my fun hat. A Beaver Brand OR clone in Adobe. Medium-stiff felt, not very pliable, smooth but not the greatest hand, and boy is it fun to wear! Looks great, fits great, and I don't have to baby it too much. I wear this hat around the house while I try to decide what other hat to wear on any given day. And for days out shopping or picking up parts for the car, truck, or bike, this is the one. Rainy weather, no problem, just plop it on my head and move on!

I think Stefan and Max have the world hat supply! Looking good, Steve.

Wow, what an exceptional Marathon, Joe. Fantastic beauty! Marathon has escaped me so far.
Thank you, Randy [emoji145].
Thing is, Stefan shares his supply, Max hoards his in his safes. Anyone up for a Hat Oceans Eleven to crack Max's metal boxes?

Borsalino Qualitá Speciale today. It's somewhat unusual colour is represented by Borsalino's name for it "Ontano". I believe it refers to the colour of the bark of the alder tree.
I'm grateful yet again to the Dutchman for finding this one with me in mind.
Thanks, Stefan [emoji145]

Very nice, Joe. I should wear mine more often (but that goes for a lot of them...)

They're the best of hats, Randy. Like dressing down at the weekend in flip-flops and scruffy jeans. Not that I know what that's like [emoji4]

Your lid looks much better than your description btw.

I want to drive the garbage truck like Sammy.

Great two tone lid, Jim. Just want to feel the texture of that one.
