Fantastic, Bill. Then again, I'm not impartial as far as Manchester hat makers are concerned [emoji4]It is from the Wildfowl Mixture line and is composed of two different colors. The primary color is Eider Green (Eider is a large sea duck) with the secondary color being Woodcock Brown (Woodcock is part of the sandpiper family).
I have not been able to find any information about these “Wildfowl” hats. I can’t even determine if they were ever even sold in the United States. This one came from England. The only reference I have found is a sales ad in a newspaper from Sydney Australia dated March 31, 1954. I have the original box and the date on shipping label is 28 May 1957. Found out the V is for May.

It's a win-win situation. If we do, great. If we don't, more stingies for us [emoji4]

That is one fine lid, Jim. Love the liner. Admire the wearing of the back pinches. That really challenges my perceptions of hat wearing. Even more so than a Bowler with a t-shirt [emoji4]. I'm definitely going to have to try that. The back pinches that is, not the t-shirt and Bowler [emoji145]Feeling quite regal under America's Finest Hat, generously gifted to me by a fellow Lounger a few years ago.

In the old days we had Dr. Spock, nowadays you have Dr. YouTube. No fair!Don’t be too fearful. They don’t come with directions, but we all figure it out pretty quickly. Good luck.
Michael, it's Norway. The snow never goes away [emoji4]Great looking Gorasgu, Panos. And a good look overall. Your snow is gone.

I thought it was one of those raccoon thingys people put in their hats??Are you talking about my pasty complexion or the ice that is pushing up through plant stems after a few inches of rain followed by a cold snap?
Some of the best results occur through experiment accidents, Jim [emoji4]Sorry to disappoint, Steve, but the dent in the back was inadvertant. I think I did that brushing it before I left.
