Mallory Dallas this morning. Too bad I’m wearing it to the office instead of the Golf Course. This Life ad from 1946 looks like the exact hat. Blue/Gray color and the Pliafelt.

Today’s hat Dobbs Royal Coachman with guild edge. It’s medium to medium dark grey leaning more to bluish tones in my estimation. The brim is right about 2in with a nice guild edge and the ribbon is 2in. It’s a 6 7/8 that’s fits nice and snug on my usual 6 7/8 to 7 head. This has been one of my favorite go to hats since I got it earlier this year. It’s very comfy and has a bit of its own character.

Thanks Steve. From the moment this one arrived earlier this year. I knew it was going to be a favorite. I got a bit sidetracked by some newer arrivals.. but I always come back to this one. It has a very soft feel in hand and a bit of character in its crease. And for me it’s great when I want a snugger fit like on a windy day.
