It looks good to me!Just got back from work, and couldn’t wait to show y’all what I was doing yesterday while playing hooky from work...and life...
This hat business we all play here really is a disease. [emoji15][emoji2957]
So here’s my new old Cavanagh. I sewed in another sweat band, this one a cheapie, but I am proud to show you my first and probably last attempt at a shark gilled bow. Like Fruno said, making the thing isn’t too hard, it’s sewing it on that’s the trick! I think it turned out alright, but y’all can tell me the truth, I can take it.
I recently purchased three different colors of vintage ribbon from eBay and chose this color. The gray I got was too silver f?and the brown/red didn’t look right either. So I used the sandstone.

You don't seem too keen for his arrival, Marcel. Hat looks good though.Waiting for my physiotherapist. It was raining outside, so my Akubra Stylemaster protected me very well. View attachment 196270

It's a new English hat maker / boutique, Brent. Started in the late 2010s I believe. Very stylish hats, based on the classics, but in a modern look. That’s a brand I haven’t heard of. I do like me a nice green hat, and you wear this one well.

My rain hat here also. Felt gets softer every time it gets rained on. I guess beaver doesn't mind the water. VS Pecan.

Wow, Ken! I think only a Texan like you could tame that bronco. Looks like you've tamed it and made it yours. Cool look.Texas Hatters Half-Breed . Or as I call it "The Beast". View attachment 196314 View attachment 196315 View attachment 196316
And that awesome leather jacket..... I can hear the Indiana Jones theme song resonating now. An excellent combo. Love it!
