Thanks Red. I'm not sure how old the jacket is but I might guess from the 60s. It is a custom job done by Alexandre and judging by the stamps on the label I think it was done in their hand tailoring shop. I believe it was some sort of club jacket as you can barely make out where a crest of some sort was sewn on the breast pocket. It's insulated with a Milium lining, which I think one started to find ads for in the late 40s and the ads seem to have ended sometime in the 60s, though the product may have still been available after that. It's a very heavy Melton wool.Wow!, just wow Michael. The sixteen fiddy is one of my favorites. But that jacket! is it old? When was something like this common? You always make a fashion statement in my morning feed.
Love that hat, Red. Beautiful felt and great style and size. Hope the PT does the job for you hand. One of the coldest mornings we have had here in Oregon so far. Arctic blast coming from Alaska. My PT appointment for my broken hand is first thing this morning. I will be wearing my black overcoat for the first time this season. The nearest hat that comes to hand is my Wilson homburg in a beautiful heather finish. No time for a current photo, I'll have to get back into the habbit!
