Austrian custom loden cap will be going to Canada with me, but the 1940's p-coat will have to stay home....its a heavy beast, doubt I will get to wear it much this winter. Love this coat though.

I have a special attachment to the navy peacoat. I have my Dad's peacoat, but it's too small for me now. I wore it in high-school and fire severs years after. Maybe a nephew will inherit it.

First day of "real" fall
Albertini 3 R.jpg

It is dark from the morning to the early afternoon, than a dark day
Albertini 6 R.jpg

Produzione Albertini 1817 - Intra - Italia. "Argo" is the name of the hat
Albertini 8 R.jpg
The felt is soft and with an amount of wool inside, the color is "Nocciola". This is one of the oldest hats I have in my collection from the "lake hatters"
Albertini 4 R.jpg
Albertini was the first hats producer in Italy to use machinery, it merged in Panizza probably before the WWII even if there are many hats producers on the Lago Maggiore that went into the Panizza arms during the years
Albertini 5 R.jpg

Small note for connoisseurs of English hats: look for the Albertini heirs in Luton, it's an interesting story

I wish you a good day and I want to tell you that I do not comment on the many magnificent hats that appear here every day, I have linguistic difficulties and I often know very little about American headwear in order to express opinions.

Royal Stetson Open Road for what is sounding like the last nice warm, relatively, morning of the year.

Think I might go hunt some mushrooms.
Have a great Wednesday,
Michael
GREAT look today, Michael. Hat, suit, shoes... wonderful!
Beautiful sunrise as I was out early this morning, with my 1992 Worth - Walden. I just had to stop, sit & take it all in as long as it lasted.

Nice hat, though mother nature stole the show. Outstanding pictures, Jack.

If it had been a competition, then I'm afraid there wasn't much competition. Ha ha. I'm more depressed than happy about that. I guess I watch too much Perry Mason.

Thanks, I'm happy with them, though they might benefit from being let out a little. Today's pair, different than yesterdays.

With a handwoven Donegal vest and Jonathon Richard Irish made newsboy.

Bismuto is good. Great looking hat and great look.

Thanks,
Michael

Yet another suit of yours I'm envious of, Michael. Great 3 piece and tie. Goes really with with the RS-OR. Hope you changed before mushroom hunting [emoji4]

Decisions, decisions.
On this Day of Atonement, what’s best for the holiday?!

Thats amazing you still have it. Pretty cool family mementos. They are great coats, very heavy in Melton wool. Hard to travel with due to bulk. But they sure look cool on and collar up. ;)

Some great hats, Charlie. I'd go with the Royal Stetson.
Have an easy fast, my friend.
