Greetings All:
Today....it seems not so many Borsalinos have been around lately.
So...here is a lovely example of fine Italian craftsmanship. The felt is very thin, dense and airy light that conforms to whatever your imagination is, as is only Borsalino. Finely finished detail, their hallmark, does not disappoint.
Be well. Bowen

Beautiful shape and flow to that Borsalino, B. The perfect leather jacket to wear with it, too.

I've let a lot of things go around the homestead for a while, Stefan. My storage spaces got quite out of control. If it was one, it would not be a big deal. It was all of them. Getting things in order is requiring that I drag everything out of everywhere, and it's been a bit stressful.
Thank you though for the encouragement to smile and take time for a bit of joy. It helps.

I do understand the sentiment, H&R. These things can be a drag. My wide decided today that enough is enough and we need to clear out a ton of clutter (including hats!). She has been very understanding, but she is also right of course. I decided not to tell her yet about the ones that are still coming in...;)

I have Swedish roots on my maternal side, so I don't think your Scandinavian theory holds up. It's definitely the Midwest winters. Toughens you up, builds character. ;)

I'm also prepared for future beard and bowler (derby) coordination:

I'm too white to be Huggy Bear, though I do have that furry Dobbs:

Pretty sure I still have some turtlenecks packed away in storage. Now I just need @Garrett's pimp chain to complete the look. Hmm...maybe I'll hit up the pawn shops this week.

Plan B would be to get a Gran Torino.

Thanks, Stefan. I almost grabbed the Gorasgu but had to spread the love to the B-17.
Two beautiful ones today, Jonathan, even though I convince my brain that that Dobbs is not green at all:)

Great parade of hats. Glad to see some faces and hats reappearing as the weather changes.

Best, Eric-
Wow, Eric, that has taken hat wearing to a whole new level! Is there anything above black belt?

Good evening everyone. While I was boxing up the straws and surveying the felts for autumn service; I came across this old hat tucked away in the corner of the attic. I have had it for awhile, but have never worn it until today.

Sadly, the big hen was found by my landlord and the boletes that I found may be of the bitter type.

The woods we hunted in.
Have a good Monday,

I always enjoy seeing that Champ, Michael. I sometimes have trouble finding mushrooms in a supermarket, let alone in a forest!

Don't look at me! But I can only applaud the support for my favourite brand. And not with the least of their hats I might add (and I will). Wonderful, Bowen.

Thanks, Stefan, but I cheated and used stock photos for that post. Here's today's hat, a Knox 20 stingy brim:

Supporting the cause with an easy grab and go hat on my way to the post office. Had to mail out a package today. ;)
