The charcoal ribbon trimmings make this hat easy to wear with all kinds of attire.

Best, Eric -

Finally was able to see the Downton Abbey movie last night. It did not disappoint!! Great hats throughout, many like the British Homburg I selected to attend in. In true Lord Grantham style this beautiful heather finish felt is by Joseph Wilson & Sons, Ltd., London. This homburg is not as formal and would have been worn during the era. This example is from the early 1950s, I think...

Very all round dapper, Ken. I have a jacket from Alexandre of London. Doesn't have my name in it though. Enjoy the cruise.

Thanks Steve, I have a couple older off the rack jackets from Alexandre of London. pre-2000 (They say "Made in England") They also used to have shops on several of the military bases that I was stationed at in Germany. Their off the rack stuff was really nice up until around 2000 because they were made in London but later started importing the work from egypt and other countries to save money. The newer stuff says "Made in Egypt" or some other country and isn't quite as nice as the older suits done by actual Alexandre of London tailors. However, their bespoke suits are still impressive as they have a whole catalog of fabrics and designs and they are done by London tailors and they personally monogram them for you. Funny fact: I learned this because one of the original tailors runs the Alexandre tailors shop at Fort Hood Army Base in San Antonio, he was the same one who made some of my earlier suits back in 1984 when I was stationed at Hahn AB in Germany. He's been in the States all these years now and still has his great English accent. ;)
