Turned out to be a Greeley Hat Works day. Wide brimmed Western homburg till noon, and the buckskin beaver topper for my gig hat.

The only trouble is the gig was for a brewery festival and they provided a virtually unlimited stream for the performers.

So now I’m posting instead of sleeping!

At 87 deg. on the bay today... YES, it's a little too warm to be wearing this fuzzy beauty!
But new to me and I just had to wear it.

Ah, a hatwearing couple. We don't see many of those here on the lounge. Sergej and his wife used to post here and Harv and Ester of course. Doug still does post pictures of him and his wife on occasion. Good looking hats on you both.

First outing with the VS remodel of a very vintage Montecristi (maybe 30's / 40's). Just back from the Sat morning farmers market. Got stopped twice about the hat, inquiring minds. Art tells me he used a new ribbon color called Tree Tan (light brown with a hint of pinkish/orange. The knot is a marshmellow creme color.
