Great images again Sam. That leather jacket is sweet! What unit is the patch, I can't quite make it out?Akubra Camp Draft

I do love that Everyman. Always enjoy seeing it. I'm only venturing out for a short errand, probably will go with the Sage Strat.Forecast is rain, and more rain, with intermittent rain and clouds. However, the oilskin hat is staying home. The Everyman Indy hat from Penman gets the nod today. A bright spot on a rainy day.
It should protect you well today. Buck up, spring is on the way!A CD today because... well, just look out the train window.

Me too. I'll have to drag it back up for a bit of nostalgia. Nice look Amos.

Like the pattern on that cap. And the sweater and the pants, et al.I'm feeling like a cap today. A Norwegian made cap in particular,

Some fine hats here this morning. I hope I have the internet a bit more reliably than it was yesterday.

Very nice Alan. It is interesting that an Aristocrat would accept "standard" quality. Beautiful Homburg.Little black Aristocrat from Stetson sold at Kleinhans in Buffalo. Note the wind trolley button sewn through the bow, an alternate construction seen in the late 1930s - early 1940s.
Just looked it up. Yes, this is their patch. The unit flew B-24s out of Shemya AK during the Aleutian Campaign.I'm pretty sure it's from the 404th bomber squadron. I bought this jacket second hand though so I'm not 100% sure on that.

+1Very beautiful this morning Esther. Love the color on this one.
Love the look.Looked out of the bedroom window yesterday, there was a bright, sunny spring morning to greet me. Dug out my faithful trilby straw, donned the Route 66 shirt, got the MG out and went for a spin. No sooner had I got back home than the rain came down. Still rather early for to wear the straws. In just over three weeks it will be the spring equinox, maybe that will usher in some sunnier weather.
