Good style. The maroon colored ribbon is good with it, and of course I like the wide brims. They fill up space in a flamboyant way that the faint of heart don't dare to wear.

The original thin ribbon (matching the color of the felt) somehow didn't work with my face so I replaced it with a vintage brown 1 1/2" ribbon. Works much better for me. Sorry Rusty, Mr. P & Tom... ;)

I'll post some more detailed shots of the hat in next week.

WOW Mario, Beautiful hat. The color combination is really nice and the 1 1/2 inch ribbon really adds something to the look of the hat. My favorite part however is the swoop in the brim. Ive started "swooping" all my hats like that.

Tragically for you, the statute of limitations for being virtually chained to a tree (the so-called "statute of limb-i-tations" :D ) is 30 days. I am skating on this one...:p :p :p

lol Well........I don't want to give away my whole case but there is a time zone change and that pesky daylight savings time that gives me alittle more time to file.

I know I am a teensy-weensy bit prejudiced but how could anyone with a grain of class look through the photos in this thread and not want a fedora?
OK, there might be the odd Rastafanarian whose dreadlocks would clash, but all the others should definitely want a classy lid covering their cranium.

LOL, Agreed Suitedcboy!! There is so much class associated with a finely made fedora/homburg. There are some extreamly nice lids in this thread. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Our first really warm day here this year, so I'm wearing my Campdraft. It's 2 3/4" brim is good protection from that harsh Northern European sun lol lol lol
I also removed the liner, which is easy to do, and that really makes a difference in the coolness factor.
