Well darn it..... I picked up a fairly modern Royal Deluxe silverbelly Stratoliner on the "Bay" a couple weeks ago.... and it dissappeared into the post office Item heading said 7-1/4... description said 7-1/4, and when I got a tracking alert that it had left Dallas on the way here I went back a looked at ALL the pictures more closely... Yep right there when I zoomed in the almost new looking tag said 7-1/8... Stuff like this will teach me to carelessly bid late at night lol

I was just looking for a fairly decent looking knock around hat for when the weathers iffy. Guess I either need to find someone that has a 7-1/4 or 7-3/8 thats too big for a swap , Or I need to do some dissassembly and resizing.

Oh well ....at least I know it in advance and wont be terrible bummed when it gets here.

Excitedly waiting for a Borsalino Dragospo… the photo of the tag didn’t show the model/color, however the letters/#s were a match to one posted in FL. I don’t really have many small brim hats

Well now! the Stratoliner came in and it it IS basically new, and it IS marked as a 7-1/8. BUT.... it actually measures and fits as a 7-1/4! Woo Hoo! Maybe it was a mismarked oversized hat because I dont see any evidence that anyone had muscled it to be bigger

I NEEDED good news today... have been whining and groveling for about 24 hrs with severe chills, headaches, and stomach/ gut challenges. Went to the Dr this morning and they tested for Strep, Flu, and Covid. All negative. At least I know what it ISNT. Got plenty of over the counter goodies to tone things down, but I feel pretty rotten. Finding out the hat fit made my day!

My limited Stetson experience has been that they run large. Good deal for you. Nasty cold viruses going around.

Verified the new Stratoliner fits well... 20-25 mph gusts this morning ... brim wobbled in the breeze ( its a really soft felt) but it stayed right where I put it

I feel your pain.... since October here, literally every package coming here through USPS DFW/ Coppell Tx has disappeared for 5-6 days. Looking forward to seeing what you got ( when they BOTH get there lol)
