I thought about that, but then I’d miss out on the thrift stores along the way. Plus I can flip the hats for gas money.

Ive got TWO new hats on the way! One is a Black Champ Featherweight, and the other a nice light brown Stetson Key Club Imperial/ Ultimate Finish

Both were ebay hats and had a "or Best Offer" option. I made MY best offer on both and got both for a much lower than listed price. Both are modest brims ( 2-1/8?) and appear to be in really clean shape. Now lets see what kind of gorilla packing methods they use to ship lol

Stetson Stetsonian, Extra Quality. Brim is 2 1/4 or so. Might be from the 1920's or early 30's because the sweatband joint at back isn't sewn.

Have a new project hat on the way. A big ol Black 4x Resistol Cowboy hat. Game plan is to use it to test my new Jiffy Steamer and brim curling tool. Going to shorten the brim up a bit by curling it. Im thinkng a full 1/2" curl although I may test a 3/8" to start with. If it works well, I have some other nicer hats that might benefit from the same treatment ( I have one raw edge and one bound edge in mind for it)
