I forgot that this site doesn’t allow even the buyer access to the pics after purchase and I didn’t archive them. I seldom show more than the sweatband in this thread anyway.

The O’Farrell is around a size 7-1/8 and I ‘m hoping that the “across” measurement of the Montecristi from the Panama Hat Co. of Hawaii is the width. Worth a gamble for a $30 hat (I had a $15-off coupon).

Well, if that's a true vintage hat and it's from 1934, that's 90 years old. But no one can say without more info. It sure looks to be in minty fresh shape.

I ordered another Agnoulita. I got a taller crown, thinner ribbon, contrasting ribbon and binding. So it will be set up more like a thin ribbon hat like Pic no. 2

Sizewise I've been out of luck recently with my purchases, but these two Barbisio homburgs will be exactly my size.

This Berteil is not my size, but I'm sure someone over here will be interested after it's cleaned up.

Hufvud is all over my radar since I've been catching up on a few threads, so I ordered a 50X Bogie. The crown is the standard 4 3/4". Brim will be 2 7/8", not the normal 2 3/8". Sudan Brown binding, 6mm. The ribbon is a 1" Charcoal. So will look similar to this but with a thinner ribbon instead. All I need is one Bacall and I'll have a pair of stunners.

Beauty. White coney must have been plentiful or farmed, but make a nice hat by the looks. I like the contrasting ribbon. It pops.

I almost went with a smokey lavender trim for the binding, but I didn't have 'true grit', as they say. I'm really excited to see and handle this 50X Emerald Gray felt.

Laugh if you must, but I'm done buying for the interim. I got 3 coming and my addiction is sated. I think it took 3 tries to reach the best maker, and felt and trim color combo. I not only got my feet wet, but I jumped all the way in. The maker said 2 to 3 months I recall, so it will be a while. The blue agnoulita comes Thursday, fingers crossed. I hope his navy is dark enough for me.

La Salle western hat, the only cowboy type La Salle I've come across. Said to have 3 inch brim and 6 inch open crown. The seller interprets the sweatband writing to mean this is a pure beaver hat.
