What hat are you waiting for today?

Busting into a new pallet with a blue hat. Not sure what I'll wear it with, and it'll probably stay on the shelf until spring. But I couldn't resist the "Flying Cloud" liner. My first Knox; also, I read on here somewhere that Flying Clouds are hard to come by over 7 1/4 (I'm 7 3/8). Seller admits a couple of moth bites, but otherwise the hat looks clean, and the sweat and liner look to be in good shape. Another post re: clouds asked about the pin; looks like they represent maritime flags. This one reads, "Changing my course to port."

That looks like a great color. I have a couple Knox Flying Cloud hats as well. If not mistaken one also has that pin. I do enjoy them.

Tossed out a $13 bid on this vintage western from White and Davis in Pueblo, Colorado and then I forgot about it ... until I received an invoice for it this evening.

Too small for me, but a cool old hat anyway.

Just got my hands on a a dead stock Borsalino. This is a Borsalino 50grams hat in Navy. This hat has been generally out of stock in every hatter for at least two years. Found one in my size from a hatter in Germany. Just shipped out today.

Nice! Curious about what it actually weighs including the sweatband and ribbon. The lightest one I have is about 61 grams in total. Hard to imagine they can get it much lighter than that one.

This one doesn't have a lining, so they removed that weight. It also doesn't have a wind cord, which all other Qualitia Superiore hats have. I'm actually ordering a lining for it.

My Adam hat that I bought on Etsy recently says it was delivered today but I didn't receive it. I did receive the key for a package locker with a package in it that was not for me, which I delivered to my neighbors door. Hopefully one of my neighbors will be so kind as to return the favor if they received my package.

I hope so too! I usually have my hats delivered to my daughter's house as she can get them off the porch faster than if delivered to my house. One was mistakenly delivered to a neighbor of hers and it took a couple of weeks for some reason, but she finally got it. I had a two-hat lot that I bought a couple of months ago that finally shipped, but they sent it to my address and I was gone for the Holidays. I didn't stay on top of it as I had forgotten about it what with all the other hats coming and going. It sat on my porch for a week and got rained on once, but no harm was done.

Usps got it straightened out today, I received my Adam Airliner. Into the freezer, than a little clean up and shaping, than I'll post more pictures in the Adam Alley.
