I received a few Amazon gift cards for Christmas. While surfing for something to bummuse them on, I found a Stetson Beaver Pinnacle in Mink color being sold by Delmonico hatter.

It was the perfect use of the gift cards. It should arrive later this week.

I'm half-way through the dreaded "four month wait" at Everything Australian, and now their website includes an additional note for out-of-stock Akubras that says, "Leaves Warehouse in 6 Months (made to order)". Between this and the various styles they've discontinued I'm beginning to wonder if I'll actually get it.

Well, I wasn't really on any "wagon", I just hadn't purchased any hats for a while because of financial issues, i.e. being broke sucks. And, of course, Akubra closes for two to three weeks every year around this time because of their brutally hot summers, so there's an additional delay on top of every transportation issue caused by the current worldwide pandemic. My timing is spectacular!
