Very nice. I'd like to see more photos and details of that brim. Likes like you got a great deal.

Here you go. Sorry about the poor quality. (Shaky hands, cellphone camera)
The logo seems slightly faded but it's actually some kind of protective layer that's over it.

Little question for you experts: do you know the meaning of the letters pinned inside the hat? (C. P. in my case)
Are those name initials? I noticed them pinned into other Borsalino hats on the web earlier.

Ahh, your original photo was intriguing, but these new photos show more detail. I first thought it had a curled brim in the back and sides that transitioned to a flat brim to the front but that was just an illusion.

That is a nice Homburg! I'm a fan and Borsalino make great versions of them.

For more information, you might post photos and descriptions in the Homburg Nation thread and in the Borsalino Brotherhood thread. The folks there can probably answer any questions you might have.

And for your homework assignment, read pages 1-50 of the Borsalino Brotherhood, you will be quizzed at our next class meeting. Very nice find. Looking forward to a shot of you wearing this new beauty.

Somewhat Robin Hood, a little Tyrolean Hunter/Traveler hat common at Oktoberfest celebrations.

It looks very Germanic to me. A variation of a Tyrolean?

Tonak makes many different styles of Trachten / Hunting hats. Also such Trachten / Hunting hats are worn in the Czech Republic / Czechia today.

I'm afraid you are right.. Already waiting for my next hat, the seller shipped it yesterday.
I might be developing a slight Borsalino addiction.

It looks like this homburg isn't in as nice of condition as your black one; however, 95% of the time I prefer a non-black hat. If you come across any of these beauties in size 61-62 you can always send me a PM :).

Make sure you include photos of you wearing your hats on the What Hat Are You Wearing Today thread.
