That’s just obscene...But I like! Not being able to visit the vintage clothing shops where I usually get my hats (well, I could but there wasn't anything there) has made my auction trigger finger go all jittery. Then this is what you get: in various places on the planet hats waiting to be sent off to the lowlands.

Thanks Stefan. Hoping so.. I’ve been after and old black western with OR/Strat cues for a bit now. Something with some wear... and not a museum piece either... so this really might check that box for me.Nice catch. That should make for a wonderful hat after a bit of TLC.

Thanks, Joe. I'm looking forward to these.Wow what a haul! What beautiful lines on the Faunosca
Thank you, Brent. Nobody's stopping you from collecting a boatload of size 7 hats (having said that: maybe there is). Wearing them is another matter. If it's any consolation: not all are my size.Wow! Please let me come back in the next life as a size 7! Better yet, a 6 3/4. Way to go Stefan.
Thank you, Mike. Certainly ones to look forward to.The Portis, Medalist and Battersby are my favorites. Wow.
Thanks, Jonathan. That seems to be the case more often. They travel in flocks apparently. There's been a flock of Gorasgu's before and a flock of Ludoela's.Quite the haul, Stefan! Interesting to see two Faunosca 38 1/2s show up at the same time.
Thanks, Bowen. The Medalist is a bit of a mystery colourwise. I'm expecting it to arrive tomorrow and we'll see. Matter of fact it is not my size but larger. Had to have it though, since it is very rare to find on offer on a local auction site here.Sheeze Stefan!!
Some fine trigger jitter.
That Faunosca...perfect ribbon.
But the Medalist....blue???
It wouldn’t be too large for you would it??
Sheeze!!

Always handy to have something to trade. Having a perfect Stetson Twenty will get you a good deal of leverage I'd say. This looked too minty to pass up. I’d love to work a trade with someone for something in my size (7 5/8 or 7 3/4). Otherwise, I’m sure I can get my money of if it on eBay.

Oops, didn't look closely enough. It should get you a quarter more leverage thenThis is no mere Twenty! This is the TWENTY FIVE!
Not a nibble yet, but it’s early days.
Ohh...too large...i’m thinking i have a Vita-felt Medalist Homburg in too small brown...pity us. SmilesThanks, Joe. I'm looking forward to these.

I feel like I hit the trifecta. Two rare Borsalino models and two rare colors, one of which is a previously unseen green. Even Stefan (@steur) might approve.
