What do you do with your jacket at the weekends?

What do you do with your jacket at the weekends?

Do you like to take it to a cup of coffee or tee perhaps? Give it a walk at the nearest park? Or do you go to shopping with it, maybe even find a new friend to it. Or maybe you are a sadistic ba***rd and you make it all wet and beat it to your willing because you don't like how it fits you?

I would like to hear how you spend your quality time with your leather jackets, what ever it will be.

Since covid since march here ... i only wear it at home or when doing weekly quick groceries run with mask on, i used to wear it to visit family or going to cinema, felt a lifetime ago.

That's a shame. Thank god there aren't any cases of jackets getting covid positive, would be a disaster to this community.

I wear mine anywhere where and anytime when I need to wear a jacket to keep warn. I wore my CR to go hiking last weekend, it was 15C in the mountains. I don't abuse them, but I don't wear them just as a statement. It's a garment after all.

Well I can't wear my jackets to work because I work in a factory, and there we have rules of what you can wear. And even if I could I would certainly roast inside.

I was just asking because wanted to know what you guys do at weekends that makes possible to wear jackets, and maybe I could try out to do it myself. And that way to get more wear time.

Just leave your apartment/house, go outside as often as possible, no matter what weather. Take a walk to where you usually take the car, showing up in a pub this is far better anyway.

If you need a reason: Go to your local animal shelter and join a sponsorship for a dog to be walked on daily base for a example.

Oh, all good, just I wasn't sure what do you mean since I get to wear my jackets all the time but I totally understand they're not perfectly suitable for some working environments. But yeah, I don't do anything special for the weekend that'd justify a leather jacket any more than any other day. I mostly just wear them all the same, be it hiking or sitting at a pub, drawing.

Riding a MC is my go-to reason. But I always have a jacket with me. Running errands, visiting friends, walking in the rain, taking the boy to the arcade or class, whatever. Do I get a second look here and there bc I live in Fort Lauderdale? Yep. Do I care? Nope. Do they say anything? Nope. But according to my wife, I usually walk around with a sort of mean-mug on.
