It was a case of throwing a bid in just for the heck of it. If I won good, and if I didn't win that would have been fine too. I think my max bid was $10. As long as he doesn't gauge me on S&H it should be a good gamble.

Well the hat came in last week. It's a pretty low quality hat. The crown is kind of soft, but you could chop wood with the brim. And the sweatband is the cheapest I've seen. It started to tear when I turned it down, and not because it was brittle. The sweatband is stamped with "Imported by Borsalino USA," but there is no indication of where it was imported from. The seller also failed to mention the two significant moth divits.

You win some, and you lose some. It isn't worth the postage to send it back so it will probably end up at the Goodwill.

Your hat was made in the 1980's and was imported into the USA by the Borsalino agent at the time " Borsalino USA" . They were located in Boonton NJ and were the agents for many of the imported hat lines during that time .
