Sterkowski, produces good quality caps at a reasonable price. I have 5 and I'm sure I'll have more. Actually, I'm waiting for their Deer-slayer cap to be back in stock now. Can't beat the Harris Tweed they use.
I agree with you. I've compared my 3 Sterkowski caps to Wigans and a few manufacturer's. Their quality is equally as good and are at least 50% less expensive.

Sterkowski Harris tweed caps are really warm.

I've got my eyes on one of their summer weight caps now.

I would like to share some caps I wore over the past few days. Not all caps got captured in a pic showcasing "head time."

Chiming in to say I’ve eyed Sterkowski caps for a while and finally got a Norte. So impressed I ordered a linen Ivy for warm weather.

Isn't that one of their models that has the fold-down ear coverings for those truly brutal cold days?

It occurred to me that I have only one Sterkowski cap, a lightweight "Gecko" in navy blue linen for those warm summer days. So to rectify that I just pulled the trigger on a "Rambler" in "blue-brown":

The pattern is more "loud" than most of my items of clothing, but it'll be my first four-panel and I think it'll be a nice comfortable casual cap.

Yes, their Norte has built in earmuffs. It's a nice cap. I tend avoid caps with built in earmuffs because after a season or two they tend to lose the ability to hug my ears. So I use separate earmuffs.

I have the Rambler in the conservative grey. I like it. I swap between my Rambler and Malone on really cold days.

FWIW the Sterkowski caps like Rambler and Malone have quilted liners. The body of the cap has extra fullness or "poof" to them. It's like they need to be scrunched up or sat on for a while to settle.

The Shelby has just about the same body size as the Malone, but has a standard liner lays flatter right out of the box.

Indeed it is. An appreciated feature for these WI winter days

One of the things I like about the Rambler is that it does have a larger crown/body than the other caps I have currently. The shape reminds me of a wool 8-panel/Newsboy cap I had back in the 70s that I wore until just before it finally started falling apart (very similar in appearance to Sterkowski's dark gray Rambler that you mentioned). That "blue-brown" pattern is more colorful than what I'd normally wear, but it caught my attention so why not? And I got an e-mail this morning to inform me that it has already shipped!

Sharp outfit and well coordinated cap ME Matt. Retro Sport appears to make some excellent caps.

Yesterday I wore my Italian Casentino wool cap. "Casentino coarse cloth" was the woolen fabric that was once used to make capes for shepherds, coats and blankets for draft horses. This is a soft wool, warm, waterproof and wear-resistant.
