it rained most of the day yesterday. The sun came out for about an hour and a half, just time enough to run down to the beach and get in a good swim. The waves were breaking pretty far off shore, so i had to swim way out to get past the large waves and surfers. Very choppy out there, so I only got in one lap.
Simonds linen cap stayed on my head despite the 28 MPH winds.

A classic cap. I bet the leather smell is enjoyable.

Out for Sushi Saturday in a Cordova cap made from an old Donegal tweed jacket.

That is one of my fav caps of yours - all about the fabric.

Yesterday I was capped for work adventures. McGee Donegal Tweed cap from Cordova has been getting a lot of wearing.

Inspired by Brent @deadlyhandsome I broke out the new Sterkowski cap for the afternoon. They call this model the "Harley" but I'm looking a little more "old lighthouse keeper" than "outlaw biker" in it, I'm afraid.

Love it, Dale. I don’t know any lighthouse keepers, but there’s little to nothing about outlaw bikers I’d want to emulate.

Sterkowski got me hooked a couple years ago. I'm waiting on another one now, a red waxed cotton Harley rider cap. They also have a red waxed cotton peaky blinder now, that will be next.

I must be breaking the warranty. “Casquettes deLuxe, Sport and Travel” built by K.Lo Boe for The Well Dressed Head. It doesn’t say work, sport and travel. It is not the first time I am guilty of product unintended useage.

More seriously, the Wise-Guy denim cap is working out to be a grand cap. It is a sleeker vintage style and hence it occupies a special place on my cap rack.
Work chores (cleaning or relocating leaf, pine cone debris) were “easy-peasy.”
