That cap brings back a lot of memories for me. I had one just like that 50 years ago, I loved it.

Today I wore a belt-back French cap with a spectacular vintage fabric.

Snow yesterday afternoon through this morning had me out and relocating snow. Both yesterday and this morning I have been under the brim of a Stormy Kromer. Yesterday a shovel and this morning a snowblower, shovel and chipper. This morning a "waterproof" jacket with hood was needed as it has started to rain. About 6" of snow, not a lot, but reaaaaalllllly heavy.

Today and this evening I have been sport'n a red/black slubbed wool cap. The soft lump or thick irregular place in yarn makes this wool cap very interesting to the eye, IMO.

Tonight the light drizzle makes me very appreciate of wool in general.
