Always top notch! I wish I could feel that thick wool. It looks so fuzzy-warm.
Thanks sir. It really is warm. The lining is thick and totally wind proof. 1st world problem to have caps for the varying temps and weather.
Although for tough effort in the cold I sometimes a cap with ear flaps. My collars do not stay up when I am really efforting and a cap with ear flaps is my choice. (I only have 1 flat cap with ear flaps and a Filson.) Not fashionable in the least, but totally practical. This morning I used a leaf blower for some yard clean-up. I started with ear flaps down and moved them up as I warmed up in my Filson Mackinaw cap.
Cheers on a cool day in Minnesota, Eric -
