Has a Derek Yaniger feel to it; very nice.

I've been wanting some vintage posters, something 1930s-1950s, maybe movie posters, but really I'm quite flexible and mostly what I look for is the colors and design, but I can't really find good sources for what I'm looking for, even reprints…Anybody have some suggestions? There are a few local shops that will have them sometimes, but best to check in often, to get the best ones, the only trouble is there are way too many antique/junk/book stores and so forth, all along that avenue and every time I go there I spend way too much money, so I have to kind of limit my visits for lack of self control, haha.

Thanks, dh66 and 1mach1! I actually have perused both those sites and have never really come up with anything I like and can afford, maybe I'm just using the wrong keywords, or otherwise, I'm pickier than I realized, haha.

If you don't mind motor sports, here are a bunch. I have the first one, the colors are very vibrant, every one loves it! https://www.google.com/search?q=vintage+race+posters&biw=1280&bih=613&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ESFXVM20K4eXyQT_wIHoDA&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ#tbm=isch&q=1927+CAR+RACE+AUTOMOBILE+GRAND+PRIX+TERZA+COPPA&imgdii=_

My friend is an artist that works with sheet metal. I commissioned him to make a map of Iran (my wife is from there) for her birthday. Turned out great. He also does US maps.

Well, I fought the urge as long as possible, but I'm week! I splurged and ordered this from David Uhl, it's called, Lucky Dog, for obvious reasons! The photo dose not do it justice, it is so rich and vibrant in person!

I have a few prints from Bierstadt, a couple of them Hudson River collection, but unfortunately I can't find all of them online, and taking pictures would simply never do them justice.
These are the ones I do have, though:

What I would love to have, however, are some Robert Hubert prints. Absolutely some of the most gorgeous, detailed oil on canvas I've ever seen.

I am very impressed. He is one of my favorites, but his work is way out of my price range. It must be really nice to have that in your home - congratulations, that is awesome.
Thank you, sir. It was an already-framed print from a mall store in Denver -- I didn't pay vast sums for it or anything. Original art like that would be out of my price range too!

While it would, of course, be nice to have an original - it is still a beautiful print and most be very enjoyable to have. I absolutely love his work. He has a bit of a Edward Hopper echo, IMHO.

This group is always full of wonderful surprises. :)

The wife purchased this print for me many years ago. It's signed by a bunch of guys who have sadly, "crossed the river."

Over my roll top desk resides D-Day by Robert Taylor (another signed lithograph) from the best wife ever. :)

And over the fire place is one called The Dove Field by Brett Smith

And a bunch of stuff by an local artist in residence known as..The Princess...who at 7 years-old does a fine job with oils and water colors.
