Big Man,
Aside from ya'll's fantastic outfits, those rocking chairs on the porch are really calling to me. It must be a Southern thing. I will take over a rocking chair if I see one. :)

I look forward to your photos, Big Man: always great clothes and a beautiful setting.

I'm a sentimentalist, so I'm completely unashamed to say there's something about your place that says 'home'.

Cheers

I love sitting in a rocker on the front porch (or out under the trees in the yard). But, it's so dang COLD right now. Hurry up Spring! (so I can once again sit and rock away)

Thank you. That old place has been home to the family since my grandparents moved there in 1917. It really is "home" in more ways than one.

I have been quite slow to post any pictures in the Lounge. I believe I've posted photos once or twice in other threads, but I will try to contribute here.

Seen here: Heavy wool navy blue suit. Dated 3.3.50 but styled closely to some of my earlier suits. Pants: no drop loops; measure 22.5" at the cuff.
1940s tie.

Thanks, Dinerman...am I now sideways? Are there instructions I should know to do this myself in the future.

Dinner tonight was a simple pasta with a sort of pesto that I bash up with basil, garlic, oil & almonds.

Brown and pink is one of my favorite color combinations--I really love how you've paired the shirt and the tie too. You look great!

Thanks. It's my first day wearing the shirt and I'm a little annoyed that the collar is curling a bit. I'll break out the starch next time. I am expanding my shirt wardrobe with a few custom pieces and many OTR pieces. I picked this one up at a discount store for $25! It's got a nice soft hand, a great pattern and french cuffs.

It's from Sean John and I'm amazed that Diddy can make a shirt! Actually, I find that I'm liking many of the Sean John business offerings. The wide leg pants are very classic.
