Nothing too special but it is my first post in this thread.

Worn for the last day (Yesterday) of the International Sea Shanty Festival down here in Falmouth. Grey Henley shirt, locally made leather belt - I thoroughly recommend the couple who do them to anyone down this neck of the woods - and Swedish Civil Defence denim work trousers.

That's a great photo Big Man, I hope you keep these photos for that young lady to look back at when she's older.

Thank you. I try to make hard copies of the really good photos. I'm afraid, in this world of digital photography, that so many photographic memories will be lost over time.

Here's what I wore today. Includes a Tootal Cravat. I can only assume the corduroy jacket is 1970s, but luckily it's done in a pretty nice 1940s style, with belt back and pleated patch-pockets and none-too ostentatious lapels. The first time I've worn a cravat out-and-about for about three years. I enjoyed it.

(I'm assuming it's a fairly modern jacket going on the label - there's no other maker label to speak of)

And wore this the other day - my wife was in Spain so only a picture of the shoulders I'm afraid!

Flannel suit, Tootal 'Red Quality' tie.

Thanks for looking :)

Nice summer suit Frank. I think you should try that look with an unstructured 1930s tie and a slim knot, it would look splendid!

Eddie, good jacket, It looks like late 1960s-early 70s? the shoulders look quite wide in a classic way, which works with your ensemble.
Often you find very wide lapels with very narrow shoulders on 1970s jackets which looks unbalanced.
The fob pocket on the trousers is a nice feature.
