Late 1940's two-toned sport shirt, 1950's Hollywood waist trousers, 1950's skinny belt. Sorry, no shoes. I don't wear shoes in the house.

Thanks! Yeah, while I collect vintage clothing, my father collects vintage anything-and-everthing-else. Big little books, art, alarm clocks, radios, antique gumball machines et cetera et cetera. Very few vintage clothes, though!

In Sicily two weeks ago - my day to day outfit was this early '50s Bold Look suit with a pair of '60s sunglasses.

How was the island, I'm thinking of going their for a holiday this summer, where is the place to stay?

Gosh, I haven’t posted in here in a while…. Not my usual getup or ‘look’, but I quite like it!

Dress is 50’s or early 60’s (?). Shoes are 40’s.

It was great - culturally a very interesting experience, fantastic food and the weather was very warm. If you want to experience the culture I would advise staying near central Palermo as that will allow you to walk to most sights.

My bf Tom and I just returned from a 3-day trip to Long Beach and Catalina Island. We stayed on the Queen MarynThursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Neither of us had been there before. On Saturday we traveled over to Catalina Island and in the evening was the Avalon Ball in the Casino Ballroom. We decided to wear and bring only primarily vintage clothing for the trip. We had a boatload of fun doing this. We got many compliments everywhere we went.

Thursday, a travel day:

thank you MarkJohn, it was a lot of fun. The scarf, as well as all of my Bf's vintage clothing came from CityVintage of So. San Francisco.

The Ebay vendor 'Kompendium' were selling one recently. Have a look on ebay, it might still be listed. The trouble was that they didn't use the words 'hospital blues' in the listing, despite knowing what it was.
