Thank-you. Alas, not Trickers (would that I could afford those!). They are from Charles Tyrwitt's Autumn 2011 men's collection. Full retail was about GBP300, but I picked them up in the same for GBP99. CT are, to the best of my knowledge, a brand rather than a manufacturer, so I am not certain as to who actually made them. They are very similar to a pair that Cheaney did for Herring shoes a while back, though. eBay auction (not mine) linked for purposes of good photos of the model:

Wingtip brogue style co-respondents with Harris Tweed over leather. Ideal for (dry) Autumn days. These (and another CT pair of co-respondents, black over burgundy) come out when mid-September comes in and the light / white panelled models go in the box for the season.

Tweed panels. I would never have thought but that is really a great look. Good find for the price!:eusa_clap

You can also get this style with tartan inserts. They are growing popular for wearing with a kilts. Cheaney made a pair as a special order, in a ghillie brogue, with the clan tartan of one London-based Scotsman for his wedding.

Today...

Trews are RAF Dress No1, of all things. Current pattern, I think. I wish I could find a source of the cloth they are. Not sure what it is exactly (fairly certain there is a degree of artificial fibre, though I don't know if they're all poly....), but I actually really like the feel of them. Quite stiff, hardwearing. If I could get hold of the same cloth I'd have a couple of pairs run up in a wider leg pattern. These aren't exactly drainpipes, but they are definitely slimmer than I would view as ideal. Nice high waist, though, take braces (I think designed for them, though as I bought these for pennies as new, unworn surplus I had to source and add my own buttons). Comfy.
