to be brutally honest, i don't take the time and effort to snap and post photos of my own collection because the level of loungers' interest in such things is dwindling by the day.
You should have seen what a thriving place this section was from 2004 to 2008. The inevitable growth of the lounge and the rotten economy have had a hand in diminishing its levels of quantity and quality.
QED for the good old days
Nostalgia's not what it used to be...
Killer look, Dinerman! :eusa_clap
That jacket looks smashing, not to mention the Epiphone!
This was my outfit on Thursday. Vintage jacket, moleskin shirt, paisley silk scarf, brown denim trousers (cut to a 1930s pattern):
I love this jacket, Two Types!
Well done, Mario! Which hat is that?
Mario, your hats and the fit of your suits never cease to amaze me. Keep up the sharp looks!

Thanks. The guitar's a 1980 Epiphone Genesis Custom. Heaviest guitar I've ever played. Sounds fantastic, but what a brick!
The six or seven folks that are left? The gene pool is so small now, it's practically incestuous.
In SoCal, how common was it to see random folks all decked out in classic vintage head to toe? I'm referring to the glory days of Rockabilly and Swing revivalists.Except that, in this case, it happens to be true. The proof is in the pudding of posts between 2004 and 2008.

BTW, whatever happened to 'wildroot'? That dude always looked sharp.
