That's the onlly vintage dress I have. It's from 1950s and I adore it!

This is me wearing the dress in the Pushkin theatre.

I took a few pictures today, again with the '80s Sears suit I got from my father last week. I added a trench coat I found at a church yard sale, and my new favorite hat!

The college student trying to get his meager skills a bit closer to his big-band idols:

With the jacket added, trying out a Glenn Miller mute style:

And out on a walk later, with overcoat and a wonderful bargain-priced Henschel hat. When it started raining later in the day, I could not feel it a bit!

I came back from break with so many new shirts and suits that my closet went from half-full to PACKED. I'll share some new combinations as I get time to wear them. There's nothing truly vintage (unless the above overcoat is older than I think), but I'll certainly try to make the best swing-era look with the wardrobe I have.
