Kinda short on recent photos. Shame - today, and most of yesterday, I did the classic workwear thing - brown Aero FQHH 30s halfbelt, Stetson leather newsboy, Carhartt jeans, forties-style boots, checked shirts. Today's shirt was bought new in Next, of all places, yesterday - really nice old school lumberjack-style shirt.

Last night, I went to a Fifties rock'n'roll themed burlesque night, so I decided to dig out the Ted gear...

The drape really isn't very fifties at all; I wanted to wear my grey with black trim one, but I couldn't find the damn thing!

Love the leopard trimmed jacket Edward!! Also like the pose struck by the gal in the middle, her attitude- YES!

That's young ms Sherry Trifle, a fabulous burlesque performer and one of the folks behind the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang night, which is a fantastic bi-monthly event. She was dressed as the divine Imelda May:

Two very lovely ladies! Your cat is quite unusual - something like 99% of ginger cats like that are male (like all Tortoiseshells are female, it's a genetic thing). You've got the score right, though - both my little princesses are very much the ones in charge in my house, and they make no bones about making sure I remember that! lol

From our "Spirit week" at our elementary school where I volunteer. The day's theme was "crazy hat day". In the morning when I help in the library I wore my fez but for the afternoon Running Club I coach I switched to my Worsley style pith helmet

Seeing an attractive woman dressed in fine clothes is far sexier than what passes for fashion today. I actually saw a young professional who works for the state dressed in a pair of pants that said "Pink"on the buttocks.

Today, I sported a different look from yesterday's Sunday. The difference being a G-1 leather jacket, flannel shirt, and Levi's.

As for everyone else that has posted, you're looking sharp! I have got to acquire another sport coat, as I have not had a fitting one for over half a year since weight loss. For now, I'm clad in leather. Nice attire, everyone.

Go look at the local goodwill. Here, they have some good sport coats for 5$, and you can try them on right there and see how you like them.
And also, looking sharp, i like your G-1

Wolfe

Why thank you! One of these days, I'll have to plan on just that, Goodwill, or the nearby Salvation Army... I was planning on this since August, but never got around to it due to the fact that I'm extremely busy. Maybe soon.

I'll wager that for fifty dollars, there is a whole lot that I can buy in the way of sport coats, or coats in general.

I just got this 60's plaid suit after sending it for alterations, so this is its première. My brown bowler seemed like the right choice of hat for it.
