Me and my skimmer!

OK, all you guys who aren't so sure if wearing a boater or a skimmer is for you, here is my previously-not-so-sure self in full mufti. Jacket, slacks and shirt form Joseph A Bank's post Fathers' Day sale this year, vintage bow tie, and my recent, 1920's vintage, made in Florence, Italy skimmer, purchased from Ebay. And Allen Edmonds shoes. Do I feel spiffy? Yes I do. I never would have done this if I had never found the Lounge, and that's a fact.

Strangely enough I awoke this morning half asleep, stubble to the wardrobe and put on a work shirt, which now I am at work and more awake, have discovered this is one of my vintage shirts with cuff links.

First time I have worn cuff links at work and it kinda puts a spring in my step.

Might wear my vintage shirts more often to work.

ThunderW21, fantastic wardrobe. Do you dress this way day to day or only for occasions?

Usually only on Sunday for church but sometimes if I'm going out for a day on the town I'll look like that.

Thanks!

BTW, I'm loving all the seersucker. Jos. A. Banks has a seersucker DB suit on sale
that I'm just dying to buy.

Very nice! And is that your new haircut? Or the old one styled differently?
