Thanks! I was just happy that spring has finally decided to greet us with a sunny 70 degree day! :)
There's nothing wrong with having a curlers and sweats day every now and then! Plus your hair will look nice later ;)

I sure hope my hair turns out nice. I'm trying out the new curlers I picked up at the dollar store yesterday.

The weather is quite nice here in Dallas today. We have the windows open, and it's a little cooler in the house than I like, but sitting under the dryer I'm nice and toasty. Mmmm, fried hair! :p

Today, I'm in 70s vintage. lol :p

Cream colored wide legged trousers
Gold-ish boat necked sleeveless blouse
5 inch wood bottomed wedgies (yay!)
15 multi beaded stringed necklaces in graduated lengths

head wrapped up a la Nina Simone with my giant afro puff hanging out in back (I undid my twists) big bangles and the hugest brass earrings I own.

Oh, and big huge brown Liz Claiborne shades.

Contrasting trousers from a jacket and waistcoat looks great. Very English. I wore black trousers with an otherwise grey three piece for my passport picture yesterday, though I guess it doesn't matter in the case of the picture. I did get a lot of stares when I went grocery shopping next door to the place... it's a rare sight to be wearing a waistcoat here, in this weather.

It has been raining non stop for almost four days here! Today is the first day of sunshine.

Everything was muddy outside, so my boots are a bit dirty.

I apologize.:)

Two outfits today:
Daytime (teaching Latin):
double breasted brown suit, light weight, with faint blue pinstripes
black faux patent leather shoes
blackish thickish wool socks
green iridescent tie
flat tweed workman cap
light green shirt
cool green lensed, metal sunglasses
no tie clip since jacket is rather high

Nighttime (cafe then out to Korean bbq on Telegraph Avenue)
same light green shirt
dark green tie
heavy gray single breasted suit
brown German fedora, suede
light brown wing tips
same blackish thickish wool socks
black wool pea coat
no sunglasses -- it's nighttime
30s or 40s tie clip, steel, rather plain

Forgot the pocket squares both times; only got inspired to wear them recently in Portland. My apologies to the omniscient deities of style ... Have ordered more, will wear them more often.
