Tropical palm-leaf pattern pocket square in white, light blue, and red, points up (to urge the seasons forward)

Fossil watch with gold/silver band, "sprung forward" (right wrist)
Polished stainless steel link bracelet (left wrist)
Taupe ribbed OTC socks
Burgundy genuine snakeskin tassel loafers
Nautica black DB wool topcoat
Black leather gloves
J. Crew scarf in horizontal orange and green stripes
Black/white speckled tweed newsboy cap

^ Good to hear. The downtown was really quiet when I got to know Oklahoma City back in 1988-1989.

Has the Skirvin Hotel re-opened? That's where I stayed. Quite the historic building, it would appeal to Loungers. I remember hearing that it was under new ownership and was being refurbished.

My favorite mid-day eatery was the Colcord Oyster Bar, also in a historic building. I hope this bar is still in operation!

Patrick, here is a link to the Skirven, about a third of the way down is a take a tour link that has tons of pictures of the refurbished hotel. Its just beautiful!

And the Colcord is still great:

Riley, thanks for the OkC update. Glad that both hotels are still going strong. I stayed at the Skirvin for three months on a business assignment in the winter of 1988-89, shortly before it shut down, so I am very pleased that it is back. It looks better than ever.

Great Cufflinks

Hey Patrick,

Those are some great cufflinks! I love your descriptions and know you don't wish to photograph yourself, but could you lay your entire outfit out for a photo one day?

I'd love to see everything all laid out together showing the combinations you come up with. They always sound so fabulous.

Hope you will consider it.

Cheers,

Church

One of these days. I don't have a camera right now; the photos I occasionally include with my posts are from the Ebay auctions where I purchased the items, or manufacturers' websites.

I appreciate the compliment!

Pardon the too-tall pomp (still searching for a barber around me) and the goofy facial expression.
