My digi-cam is still in a box somewhere - but I managed to get a half-decent picture with the camera in my phone today at work (I work at a hunting-/outdoors store), this is my first picture in this thread, so be gentle :)

Billede008.jpg

Green shirt
Brown East German military tie
Green/brown striped tweed west w. green satin back (I have just bought a matching drivers cap)
Brown checkered jacket
Taupe jeans
Green webbing belt

I just noticed that my hair looks awfully lot like a wig in that picture - odd that is....

Looks good, Jakob! I like the shirt/tie/vest combo.

I'm in PJs (light lavender cotton with embroidered purple flowers and green stems) as school was canceled and I'm at home with the kids. Oh, and saran wrap on my hair as I'm henna'ing it. :)

I actually taught a half-day seminar with Casual CEO today, and had lunch with him as well. So:

Navy SB 3B ventless blazer (my workhorse, soon to be supplemented by more SB navy blazers -- watch this space! :))
Light grey wool cuffed trousers (not super-light grey, more of a medium light grey)
Brooks Bros. maroon and white candy-striped button-down, crisp white tee underneath
Burgundy silk pocket square, puff fold
Vintage trout fly in left lapel
Waterman red marble gold-capped ballpoint, shirt breast pocket (no fountain pens, gel or ink rollers in a shirt pocket -- I learned that the hard way!)
Black genuine crocodile belt with gold buckle
Fossil watch with gold/silver band (right wrist)
Polished stainless steel link bracelet (left wrist)
Armani Mania cologne
Light grey ribbed OTC socks
Bally sleek black penny loafers
Nautica black DB wool topcoat
Black leather gloves
Navy wool scarf with burgundy striping
Vintage Stetson blue-grey fedora with black band, dark grey and white feathers (the box in the photo says "Dobbs," but it's not)

Jazz and salad

We went to a jazz recital at the university this evening then to the nicer restaurant in town for salad bar and potato skins. We looked a little like this, though my son was not allowed to wear my Federation, ahem.

We got favorable feedback.

My ensemble:
Silver Champ fedora
Bagir DB black on black stripe suit
Red and black scarf-print pocket square
Fedora Lounge lapel pin
Black and silver rectangular Gruen watch with Roman numerals
Silk tuxedo braces
Silver tie clasp
Stafford tie
Black punched captoe oxfords by Bostonian
Black socks
White Enro shirt with French cuffs
And these swell two-tone rhinestone cufflinks my kids got me for Christmas

The jazz was pretty cool. We all had a good time.

Sounds like a good time (no pun intended), and I bet you looked as as cool as the jazz sounded!

Thanks Lindy. Actually, the boy has a much better collection of hats than mine on the way right now.

More pics as they develop. :D
