Don Pelon: The jacket I found at a thrift store clearance rack. I'm guessing it's a 70s jacket, a nice one imo.
Luftwaffles: I like both looks!
Dreamofgilgamesh: Good look, sir. I hope you had fun :)
Splintercellsz: I agree with Metatron, nice jacket!

Today I wore this. I need some slimmer pants if I'm going to wear a jacket with this much waist suppresion

Papperskatt, you are embodying Hardy Amies' sage maxim: "A man should look as if he has bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgot all about them."

Very well done. I especially like the insouciant way you wear your tie, which isn't so contrived as to qualify as "Sprezzy"

Luxire Shirt, 1930s wide-waistbanded trousers (these are from a belt back suit I posted in the 30's suit thread... in just the right light today, I noticed for the first time these have a wild electric-blue overcheck to em), 1930s necktie and 30s or 40s ultra-cropped sweater vest (it was deadstock... I literally took the tags off this morning!) :)

I hope I don't look ridiculous holding up a camera to the mirror... I'm don't own a smartphone!:eeek:

Thank you for the jacket comments. It's my first leather jacket and I absolutely love it!

Hamil, always looking Grand!

Papper, that's a really sharp look!

Hyena, great look my friend!

1st Annual Kretz Memorial Ride

This is from Saturday, a happy and sad day, as we celebrated the lives of Ed Kretz Sr and Jr. They were big time racers back in the 30s through 60s. Sr, won the first ever Daytona motorcycle race. Jr, even went to Europe and the UK, when Steve McQueen could not compete in the ISDT, he called Eddy to ride for him. I was somewhat vintage 501 jeans, saddle ring boots, Barbour coat, gauntlets, but with my club T-Shirt and full face helmet. It was cold on the way up, my visor froze over, and thick fog, can't remember the last time I rode in that! It cleared for the main ride. Some pictures of the ride and Eddy Jr.
