Your gift had to be either that or a truck...Good hunting!
It looks similar to a Model 12. I have the 1897 with the exposed hammer.
Looks very 'Browning' to me.

Alas, I'm only old-school on the outside:
black jeans, black lambswool crewneck (both LL Bean), black New Balance walking shoes
seal brown Flight Suits M-422A jacket and light brown tweed B!wear newsboy cap.
I know - black and brown shouldn't work together, but I think it makes a dramatic contrast.
It's very sunny but quite cold today in the northern NYC burbs - it was only in the high 20s when I left for work this morning.
great looks there Joe and Mr Badger, here's mine from yesterday taken by a mate 'at the local' , trousers are fuller than suggested.....not the best shot but hey it was Christmas and we'd had a few jars!
50's-60's ginger tweed suit by Mairi Macintyre of Oban, Fort William, waistcoat a Gurteen item, 'Four Way' tie retailed by E & G Wilson, Killin, Scotland, brogue boots Loakes Bedales.
Outfit for a pointless trip across London to collect a lost mobile phone - since I spent most of the day standing out in the cold on station platforms waiting for trains that didn't exist, I had chosen the right outfit (submariner sweater, Levis jacket, reproduction WW2 British Army leather jerkin):
Well, I'm happy it was the shotgun lol I have two trucks, no pump shotguns until now!
Pics or it didn't happen.
That's what originally drew me to it, the receiver is a lot like the A5, which is my favorite shotgun.
that is uncanny!Miss Slapstick, you remind me of Sally Gray, seen here in 'Cheer Up' (1936):
A really excellent ensemble, not that we would expect anything else from you! It's a bit difficult to see the hat. Your overcoat looks as if the fabric is rather lightweight - as if it were a spring or autumn coat. But I've long been of the opinion that lightweight wool topcoats for the transitional seasons have been missing for many years and deserve reinstatement.Late 1950s/early 1960s "Fashion Tailored" suit, 1950s "Custom Imperial" overcoat, late 1950s "Burma Bibas" tie, Bond fedora, modern Florsheim "Gaffney" spectator boots.
