Coffee on the veranda under a Gannon Highwayman.
Haha! Thanks Randy! Glad I can sometimes be a positive influence. You are an inspiration, Jack. Every day you post, I think, "Tomorrow, I need to wear my .... hat".
3X American Royal/Arminto
Thanks, Bob. A lot of these hats have turned up over the last four years or so and most are covered up with pins. I looked at one in my size that the seller said held over 80 pins. Can't imagine what it weighed. I lucked out as mine held only 4 pins and two of them were the Saddle & Sirloin enamel filled sterling pins so, at least they were keepers.Love that one Greg!
I made a weak attempt at something similar today (but with many more holes in them). All American Royal related pins.

I’m waiting for one the the shirts from Saddle & Sirloin Club 1955 in the lower left corner to turn up in my size.A lot of these hats have turned up over the last four years or so and most are covered up with pins.
That would be perfect. You've got the finest of these hats I've seen turn up. Notice the tie or bandana with the S&S emblem?I’m waiting for one the the shirts from Saddle & Sirloin Club 1955 in the lower left corner to turn up in my size.

Thanks! I did notice & think it’s a bandana. Never seen one in person. That would be perfect. You've got the finest of these hats I've seen turn up. Notice the tie or bandana with the S&S emblem?
What a hat, Greg. Love the boots too!
Thank you, Joe.What a hat, Greg. Love the boots too!
I think you've got a Big Bill there, Mike.A beat-up Western I got out of curiosity. 4 inch brim, 6 1/2 inch open crown. Looks pre- WW 2 to me.
Wow! That would be great if this hat could actually be identified. It just so happens that the absolute only remnant of writing on what remains of the sweatband is what looks like a letter "L". See pic below. Coincidence? It doesn't look like it's part of the elaborate Big Bill logo on your hat. Your's and mine have the same type of mfg tags.I think you've got a Big Bill there, Mike.
Ja, looks like a different font, too. But yours looks very similar to mine. I'll wager yours is either a Big Bill or a BB clone.Wow! That would be great if this hat could actually be identified.
