@FedOregon , If you like the OR , the Stetson "Royal" Open Road (*Royal Quality) is Really Nice , Delmonico's has them in-stock and SB & Caribou are Outstanding , totally different than a 6X OR , they're soft . They're Great People to deal with . If you need LO just tell them . And they ship fast and free .

I've seen a Gun Club Roadmaster and I like the looks of that more than the OR, but the OR in Silverbelly is VERY nice!

Thanks Bob! I didn't want too much flash in the color, too many "fire colors" but I thought the blue & grays would go well with the Silverbelly & the red, orange & yellow would pick it up from there.

Well (I hate selfies) got my Resistol 20X Conley (Shantung) Straw in , but I let them shape it per my instructions , though the girl didn't write them down on my order . So after saying NO Shovel , this is how it came ...



Shovel ! ... So I've been messing with it , but I think it'll take more to get it how I want it . Here it is so far ...



It's a 7 1/2 and I wear a 7 3/8 LO , so the sweat is stuffed . Happy Trails !

Its just the angle , but I may readjust the Crown Crease and Side Dents , too , they didn't do a great job . ... the website and catalog says they've got a 4 1/8" Crease , but I knew good and well it didn't . I called and talked to the guy that works the Hat Bar , he said they were 6" Open Crown . BINGO !

Boy I looked last night , they are on sale $45 off , and got my size in stock to Boot . If I had just waited , and I had a $15 off code I forgot to use , also . BUMMER ! But you never know .
