A former FL'er whose screenname I will not mention is over on another vintage interest forum proclaiming the Lounge to be "a magical candyland where one sips shirley temples while playing chutes and ladders. If you rip the lemongrass astroturf just enough to peek beneath you'll find big brother's nazi eye staring back at you."

So. Are we all just the infantile patsies of a pastel-pink police state? Why or why not? Discuss.

I'm a moderator at surplusrifle.com and we fight VERY hard to keep it a civil area. When you are in someone else's living room, you abide by their rules. This is one of the places I enjoy coming to because it IS civil and friendly.

Fletch, I appreciate your intention in defending The Lounge, but I am sure we all agree our reputation and integrity stands on its own.

Also, as a matter of course, things happening over at other forums is not our concern here and should stay over at the other forums. If someone is slinging mud somewhere, let's remove our shoes before entering the Lounge, OK!
